Relief - Grayscaleby ~Sin-Vraal

This was/is only a step toward a finished piece. I decided to just try blocking out the lighting using a simple 4-5 tone grayscale, with the intention that it would be refined, blended and colored. I wanted to see if I could make the shapes and light readable and interesting without leaning on color contrasts yet.

This 'step' had a rather interesting result, so I think I'll keep it regardless of whether I push it further.

I really like this! I also enjoy the concept of them not even being able to get out of their armor fully before reaching out in relief that they're both alive and made it through their trials. This is absolutely lovely!

I'm a big fan of the Kaidan/FemShep pairing and I'm a sucker for MShep/Ashley too. It's good to see some love for Kaidan and FemShep. They certainly deserve it!
